1973 Gibson Dove Custom
1973 Gibson Dove Custom: I was the original owner of this beautiful and classic instrument which I recently sold. Its serial number indicates it was made by Gibson in Kalamazoo, 1973. The only modifications I made to this guitar was to have Grover tuning heads and a Barcus Berry pickup professionally installed. For years I played professionally as a solo artist and also with the New Christy Minstrels. This guitar was my main axe, traveled the world with me, was lovingly cared for, and I will always remember it fondly. It has an ebony fret board, and pearl inlay. Serial number A606050.
